FMHC HR or Legal may occasionally request a legal hold on an employee's Exchange Online mailbox and/or OneDrive for Business account.
Authorized IT personnel can create and maintain such legal holds in Microsoft Purview. This must be done by those with the eDiscovery Manager role, currently (as of April 2026):
- Jerry Turner
- Brian Straka
- Matt Feightner
- Jon Densmore
