See below three settings to check that commonly need to be changed when your computer audio is not functioning:
If your audio issue is in Microsoft Teams: Click on the three dots icon in the top right corner of Teams --> Settings --> Devices, then make sure your default audio device (i.e. “Headset” if you use one) is selected as the default device for Speaker and Microphone. After that, you can click “Make a test call” to give it a try before joining a meeting.
Also, go to the Start menu in the bottom left corner --> search for and click on “Microphone privacy settings.” You may need to switch this setting “On.”
Open Settings > System > Sound and select your desired output device (like speakers). Then, click the right arrow or "Properties" under the device settings to find the "Enhance audio" or "Enhancements" tab. You may need to turn "Audio enhancements" to "Off."
