Placing files on another user's desktop

To quickly add a customized desktop shortcut or share a document with another user, you can access their desktop using the following steps.

1. Windows Explorer
In a new Windows Explorer window search field, enter \\[computerID]\c$ . e.g. \\FFL-LK-100\c$
2. Access Desktop Folder
Open the "users" folder, then open the folder of the user you are looking for. Open the Desktop folder and place files here. They will then appear on the user's desktop.
