Cleartouch Server Notes

Modified on Mon, Dec 21, 2020 at 4:34 PM

Every branch has its own Cleartouch server, a machine ending with "CT" in the name (e.g. GSQCT for Gordon Square). When one fails, the branch can be switched to the backup server. When switching back to the primary server, follow the instructions below.
  1. 1. Remote into a branch machine

You need to be logged into a computer at the branch where the specific CT server is.
  2. 2. Log into Cleartouch

Go into Cleartouch Administration --> Define Branches. Select the branch, and switch back to the primary server.

*IMPORTANT: You may need to manually set the next Money Order number in the sequence, so that it does not revert to old check numbers from before the server switch. If you do not know the next available number in the sequence, Karen Patricy in Accounting can look up the last good check/money order that the branch printed and provide the number.  This change MUST be made in Cleartouch on a computer at that branch, NOT here at HQ or elsewhere.
