Prologue - User cannot save or email PDFs

A user may report that they cannot save a PDF report in Prologue or email a PDF directly from Prologue. When the user gets through the prompts to save/email the PDF, the program freezes and crashes. Follow these steps to resolve the issue.
  1. 1. Open Devices and Printers

    Locate the ProloguePDF printer profile. Right-click and go to Printer Properties. In the Ports tab, make sure the printer is printing to the "NUL:" port. Click Apply.
    In the Security tab, make sure that "Allow" permissions are checked for all three permissions (Print, Manage this printer, Manage documents) for the "Everyone" group, then click Apply. Click OK and close Devices and Printers.
  2. 2. Reboot

    User must restart their computer. When logged back in, the user should be able to successfully save and email PDFs in Prologue.
