After you are enrolled in Microsoft Intune, you can use the Microsoft Outlook mobile app on your smartphone to send and receive work emails.
Detailed functionality in the Outlook app:
- Searching the employee directory: In lieu of mobile access to the intranet directory, tap the magnifying glass icon (Search) at the top of the Outlook mobile app --> enter the employee's name, then tap on the result to see their contact information (email address, phone number, etc.). You may need to tap "Show More" to view all contact details, the employee's job title and department name, etc.
- Setting an email signature: Tap your picture or initials in the top left corner --> Settings (gear icon at the bottom left) --> scroll down to Signature and enter your signature information there.
- Setting an out-of-office message / automatic reply: Tap your picture or initials in the top left corner --> Settings (gear icon at the bottom left) --> under Mail Accounts, tap Office 365 / your email address --> Automatic Replies.
- Reporting a suspicious email:
- With the email open, tap on the three vertical dots below the time in the upper right corner.
- This will open a menu with options like “Mark as read,” “Flag”, etc. If you pull that menu up there will be a Phish Alert button at the bottom. Tap on that button.
- Tap on the Suspicious Email button that comes up on the next screen.
