New Employees / Employees who have not previously used Intune: New users will first need to complete and sign the Smartphone Sync Request Form (intranet --> IT tab), which requires manager approval.
Employees with Existing Intune Access (when replacing your cell phone): When you receive a new cell phone, you can enroll your phone in Microsoft Intune on your own. Contacting the Service Desk is not necessary. Please make sure that your phone has a PIN or password set to unlock it before proceeding - this is a security prerequisite.
Abbreviated instructions are listed below. See the attached PDF for more detailed enrollment instructions with screenshots.
When you are ready to enroll, simply download the Intune Company Portal app from your phone's App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android). Regardless of the company/affiliate you work for, sign in with your user name followed by @ffl.net (e.g. jsmith@ffl.net).
On the FMHC Logon screen, sign in with your main Windows/computer password. Begin setup and "Continue," "Allow," or "Activate" through the following screens.
iPhone users will need to download and install a company profile at this point - detailed instructions will appear on the screen. You will be required to enter your iPhone's passcode during this process.
Once your phone is registered (this may take a few minutes), finish enrollment by indicating that this is a "personally owned device." Tap "Done" on the last screen.
In the Company Portal app, you should have several apps appear under Featured Apps. Simply install the ones you need:
- Microsoft Outlook (to access work emails and calendar) - see detailed functionality here
- Microsoft Teams (to access your teams, chats, calls, and meetings)
- Microsoft Edge (web browser)
- Microsoft OneNote
- AT&T Office@Hand
If you are no longer using your old cell phone, please inform IT so the Service Desk can remove company-related data off of the phone.
If you encounter any issues with the enrollment process, please submit a Service Desk ticket.

IT: Ensure the user is a member of both the MDM_Users group in AD and Intune Users in Azure AD for the user to be able to enroll their cell phone.
