Occasionally, a user may request that a call-in number be added to their Microsoft Teams meeting invites in Outlook. License availability is limited, so users should first be encouraged to use a headset for computer audio during Teams meetings. If there is a legitimate business purpose for assigning a call-in number, you may do the following:
To make a call-in number appear in their Teams invites, assign the user a Microsoft 365 Audio Conferencing license in O365 --> Billing --> Licenses.
It may take some time for the change to take effect, but eventually (usually within a day) a call-in number will be included in both new and existing Teams meeting invites created in Outlook.
- This does cost money
-the number is also tied to the persons account and not shared
