It is each branch's responsibility to regularly clean its Digital Check check scanners to ensure they remain operating properly.
If the scanner detects a jam, try spraying canned air into the scanner, and also running a cleaning card through. Cleaning cards can be ordered from here: https://store.digitalcheck.com/PN-IS0033_2
Cleaning Card Steps:
- Ensure that Cleartouch is completely closed on your computer.
In the Start menu, type in “Demo” to bring up the application called SmartPVA Demo.

Click on the app to bring up this:
Just click OK!
The following blank page appears. Simply put the cleaning card in the scanner and click “Start Scan” in the bottom right corner.
The cleaning pad will scan and appear on the page. Run the card through 8 - 10 times. Click “clear track” or “stop scan” and exit when complete.

If the scanner still states there is a jam after cleaning, check the camera bay. Wipe down the glass and check to ensure there is no debris caught in the basin.
