PaperCut

Modified on Wed, Jun 18 at 11:22 AM

Effective June 25, 2025, in order to print/copy/scan* at Lakewood HQ or the Westlake Ops Center, you will need to set up your building access badge with Papercut. This can be done by following the steps below.

  1. Print to the following printer: WCLEPrtSvr01\Ricoh Secure Print
    • If you don't have this option, please contact the IT Service Desk
  2. Navigate to any PaperCut-enabled printer and scan your security badge on the PaperCut card reader
  3. The first time you swipe your badge, you will be asked to enter credentials, as shown below. Please use your Windows username (first initial, last name - NOT your email address) and password.  Please note that this is a one-time step.  Even when you change your Windows password, you will not need to re-authenticate with your Windows credentials.  If you get a new security badge, you will need to re-enter your Windows credentials at the printer one time.
  4. Once you are logged in, you will be able to release your print jobs or scan, as shown below.

Under the Scan screen, your two options will be to scan to your email or to your U:/ drive. If you need to scan to other folders, tap Scan, then tap the Home button at the bottom of the screen, and select the Scanner button to view the full address book.

If your team has on-site employees who typically retrieve print jobs initiated by remote employees, please contact the Service Desk to set up print delegation.

To review past activity and print jobs currently pending release, log in at the following link with your Windows credentials: http://papercut:9191/user

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have a key fob instead of an access badge to get into the building.  Will that work on the printer?

A: Yes, fobs work the same as badge cards.

Q: Do I have to scan my badge to scan and copy as well?

A: Yes, you will need to scan your badge to access all functions on the printer/copier/scanner.

Q: What happens if I forget my access badge at home?

A: When you get a temporary badge from Security, simply scan it on the card reader and it will ask you to re-authenticate one time, using your Windows username and password.

*Note: This is only for Ricoh multi-function printers/copiers/scanners at FMHC Lakewood HQ and the FFL/M2 Westlake Ops Center back office departments where PaperCut is enabled.

Some printers at Lakewood HQ will be retired before Phase 2 of renovations begin, so PaperCut will not be installed (FFL Commercial, Loan Origination/Investment Services, FMHC Savings Admin/Security).
